How To: Change the Master Code on a Honeywell Master Vista System
In this video, we’ll show you how to change a master code on a Vista 20 or Vista 21 IP system.
For the purposes of this example, the master code is 1234. Let’s say you want to change it to 4321. The master code is stored under User 02—when changing the master code, remember, try not to pause too long.
First, enter the current master code. Press 8. Press 02. Now enter the new master code twice. In our example, we will enter 4321 and then again 4321. And that’s it! It’s that easy to change a master code of your Honeywell Master Vista Security System.
